Fashion Police State

A State Representative in Louisiana has introduced a bill making it a crime -- punishable by a fine of up to $500, 6 months in jail, or both -- to wear low-slung pants that expose skin or "intimate clothing."

"I'm sick of seeing it," said Shepherd, a first-term legislator. "The community's outraged. And if parents can't do their job, if parents can't regulate what their children wear, then there should be a law."

This looks like a good story to follow...the upcoming plumbing backup in Louisiana...

Well... in my state we actually have to have a law passed to make it legal and non-arrestable to breast feed in public. In addition, as one of the only two states in the country that don't use Daylight Savings (pain in my butt) Time, its on the docket every darn year. And, thank goodness for rational minds, more important business usually gets done and DST is ignored.
