Also of some note to some is the debut of my new slideshow script in the photo archives. Leaner, meaner, sexier, and it works. The best part is that it works. The old version lacked that feature. The new was swiped and modified from Luke "Not Single For Long" Melia's installation of Gallery.
that's interesting...I do like the slideshow bit. I'm assuming it also require PHP?
I've been experimenting with Apache::Gallery for my photos recently
and I, like most Americans, would like nothing better than a bigger faster stronger slideshow thingy parked in the driveway.

at August 24, 2004 8:00 PMCoventry, she is in Vermont. Way up near the Canadial border, in what they call the "Northeast Kingdom," which, in a sense, it's not. It's not all that flat, though most of the pictures were taken at an airport, which is.
The slideshow script doesn't require PHP, but I'm using PHP to dynamically create each slideshow by passing the directory of images to the PHP script which spits out the javascript code. PHP just populates the javascript arrays and whatnot. One could, if onc were so inclined, just generate (or hand code) each javascript page on it's own, which was how the old version (didn't) work.
This way, though, it's one script, one variable - sweet and simple, like a woman of virtue pure.
