Ironic that Fox terminated his contract not because he was an idiot, but because he sought treatment. Fox's response to why Mathis was fired, according to the Charlotte Observer:
"Because in the contract, that says you've publicly humiliated the television station by announcing you're going into treatment for alcoholism."
Wow..... That is the only rsponse that I could muster..... Wow! And here I am going around thinking it's 2005... I sure hope he hasn't any children.
