The story The Stranger reported yesterday about Microsoft caving to gay-haters (post) has been picked up far and wide (The New York Times), but it's too late.
The bill was defeated today in the Washington Senate, again.

To those of us who are in the State of WA, let me remind you: we are supposed to be a blue state, people! This is (for the lack of a better term) WAR!! Let's get busy!!
Here are the state senators who voted against HB 1515:
Senators Benson, Benton, Brandland, Carrell, Deccio, Delvin, Esser, Finkbeiner, Hargrove, Hewitt, Honeyford, Johnson, McCaslin, Morton, Mulliken, Oke, Parlette, Pflug, Roach, Schmidt, Schoesler, Sheldon, Stevens, Swecker, and Zarelli
(I think there are a couple of Democrats in there. SHAME ON YOU!!!)

If this Ken Hutcherson is supposed to be some extremely popular Christian figure, I suggest he read the Bible a couple more times. What pastor would have the audacity to pass judgement on a certain group of people all the while preaching that God loves everyone? Who the hell is he to blackmail Microsoft into not supporting a bill that would protect gay rights?
Is he saying that it's OKAY to treat gays and lesbians worse than the rest of society?!? Must be some group of dumbasses in his congregation that would admire a biggot like this. Maybe we should go back to segregation and hangings on the White House lawn because of skin color, too. And while we're at it, why not round up all the Jews and through them in concentration camps.
Microsoft, grow some balls and try to support a bill like this next time. You're worried about Republicans boycotting? Obviously you must not realize the economic chaos that would follow if all of a sudden people refused to use Windows. For a company that's supposed be so intelligent and technologically advanced, you guys sure are stupid.
