World Terror Attacks Tripled in 2004
The U.S. count of major world terrorist attacks more than tripled in 2004, a rise that may revive debate on whether the Bush administration is winning the war on terrorism, congressional aides said on Tuesday.

The number of "significant" international terrorist attacks rose to about 650 last year from about 175 in 2003, according to congressional aides briefed on the numbers by State Department and intelligence officials on Monday.

So what's the spin going to be on this.. It's the last gasp of the fleeing, desparate, terrorists? Better there than here? All the liberals' fault? Judges? Jane Fonda?

Stay tuned..

They'll spin it as proof of the strength of our "defense" -- the terrorists have to strike elsewhere because we're shutting them down here. The fact that our policies are breeding extra terrorists is a mere quibble.

I have a bad feeling that this is exactly what they wanted... More control, more war, more proof of the "end" is near... This is freaking dangerous.

Let's get busy: let's kick their fucking asses in 2006!

I wonder about how many were in this country and or attacks against Americans. AS the two above pointed out "they" might try to "spin" this but part of the objective is to keep that shit away from this country. And while you may not like the idea of others being hit with attacks, it is better than one alternative of the U.S. seing more domestic attacks.
Are we "breeding" more terrorists or are they just getting a little more ballsy becuase they are in a corner? Time will only tell.

Mike: check the keyboard, you are not making any sense...
